Giorgio Armani with Green Cross International for Water For Life

From midnight tonight officially got under the counter of the charity project "Water for Life" challenge "viralizzante" (but not only) launched by the fashion house Giorgio Armani to Green Cross International to promote access to water and the collection of at least 40 million gallons of drinking water to people around the world who need it - especially the children in some rural villages of Ghana.

The operation is called "Water for Life Challenge", because: The first challenge of Green Cross party from Ghana, West African country where nearly 40% of rural population has no access to drinking water, and the project is called Smart Water for Green Schools. The Armani fashion house has not been watching and decided to give its contribution to supporting Water for Life attraversodue of its most iconic fragrance, and perhaps even more "themed" Water and Acqua di Gio Gioia, as well as activating a "challenge" Web focuses on the strength of viralizzante Facebook.

Provide tens of millions of gallons of drinking water to people who need them, or 900 million people who today are living without safe water, clean and healthy, necessary for the daily requirements. Why ... tell us about the project organizers, which are: Green Cross and Giorgio Armani.

Green Cross International (GCI) is a leading independent non-governmental organizations and non-profit organization that works to coordinate the global challenges of security, poverty and environmental degradation through a combination of local projects and high-level sponsorship. The new house is not beneficial to operations designed to move public opinion (Giorgio Armani will also support the "Tap Water Project" by UNICEF for the second consecutive year in the U.S.).

The reasons for the choice of Green Cross as a charity partner of operation there has given the King George in a recent interview in Vanity Fair: Reliability and integrity that are already known to the public thanks to the activism of some stars of the jet setters such as Leonardo di Caprio, head of the American section.

But is there a way by which we can help Green Cross and the project "Water for Life"? Of course you do! There are two ways to participate in the campaign and give gallons of precious water to the people of Ghana. It is not over yet: for every friend who joins your community will donate 10 gallons of water for each "like" that you can obtain one liter of drinking water donated.

The challenge has already begun ... To win what? The possibility of giving water, health and a better future for children in Ghana. He said yesterday morning Servello Isabella, PR Manager at Giorgio Armani Parfums, during the launch of the project - at the bottom of this post, and the images of the adv of 'event which was held yesterday, March 1, in the elegant open space Via Dante 14.

Then sum up the goals. The aim of the campaign "Water for Life" is to be able to donate 40 million liters of drinking water to some villages in Ghana ruruali through word of mouth, always strong, the social network as well as through the sale of the two fragrances Acqua di Gio Joy and Water, perhaps the most popular fashion house Armani.

All of this is "Water for Life Challenge", an international campaign of solidarity that is capturing worldwide. Want to learn more or even join the challenge?
