A-lab Milano, the young brand born in October 2006 by a small team of young designers (Alessandro Biasi, Andrea Orazi and Simona Costa), presented A-lchimiA, the new collection for next autumn-winter 2011/12 , a proposal that aims to represent the philosophy of the alchemists. "A-lchimiA" represents the search, the journey of the individual, the lighting but also the ability to blend, shape and change the area, and the alchemists believed that the entire universe itself tending towards a state of perfection and the gold was considered the most perfect of substances.
The new collection of A-lab Milano is in search of the alchemists her source of inspiration. The proposed objective is simple transmutation of matter into something more complex and valuable that can best express the aesthetic of perfection. The collection is a journey that unites different cultures, history and legend, West and East.
Among the fabrics suggested for next winter from A-lab Milano particular importance are felted wools, blends with patterns of diamonds, the synthetic rubber fabric (like neoprene) and the faux-sheepskin effect "used". In contrast to the lightweight printed silk, are now distinctive brand, used to decorate the interior, to create harmonious clothing with shirts with delicate draping and ruffles.
All this is complemented by soft stretch cotton and wool jersey. Nehru jackets were structured, with important shoulders and the waist always draws the workshop marked the beginning of English 900. Heads members, jackets and skinny pants are opposed to soft and wide kimono-coats, short dresses, designed and embroidered.
