Rumors: Who will succeed Galliano?

It was officially given only a few days ago the news of the dismissal of John Galliano at Dior, but the speculation about who will be the replacement for the designer started a long time. The fact British bookmakers wasted no time and started to quote the designers most likely: at the top there would be Stefano Pilati, creative director of Yves Saint Laurent, quoted at 2:38, followed closely by Heidi Slimane (3.25), a former Dior Homme, and Riccardo Tisci (4.00), the current designer for Givenchy.

Queued Kris Van Assche (5.00), Haider Ackermann (9.00) and Phoebe Philo (11.00), a designer of Celine, but are much lower on the list Tom Ford (13.00) and Karl Lagerfeld (17.00). But in Paris rumors quite different: in fact, many are betting that the successor will be appointed Riccardo Tisci, who is working very well at Givenchy.

It is certainly not a hypothesis-fetched, considering that there is precedent: John Galliano drew it right when he was called by the fashion house Givenchy. To replace Tisci then he would have named Ackermann, who is living a very positive, Lagerfeld has even mentioned as a possible heir to Chanel when its possible withdrawal.

And the rumors go so far as to predict a further substantial change: the exclusion of Pilati for Yves Saint Laurent in favor of an unusual duo formed by Heidi Slimane and Carine Roitfeld. One possibility? The fashion house Yves Saint Laurent has denied this, but every option now seems more than considerable.
