Nau: green summer 2011 collection

Looking back at Nau. The company also this year presents the collection optic Green, renewed in the models but always inspired by the environment. Developed in concert with Legambiente, this collection is made from 98% recycled platic obtained from the recovery of waste from production of other collections.

The production process of the Green collection is certified by the Italian Institute of Plastics, in 2009 and obtained the prestigious Certificate of Compliance dall'IPPR Plastic Second Life (Institute for the Promotion of Recycling of Plastics). Green is a collection of sunglasses that was created to respect the environment but it lacks a sporty design attentive to fashion trends that will attract the sympathy not only from environmentalists.

The company's optical Nau! proves to be sensitive to eco-friendly issues, supporting Legambiente since 2007 as the official supplier of Green Schooner, the ship ambassador environmental health of the seas for more than 20 years. The crew wears glasses because recycled plastic Nau! In addition, Nau! signature and supports projects for the protection and preservation of the environment, support campaigns to protect the ecosystem and donating for each pair of glasses sold in recycled plastic, a contribution to Legambiente.

Nau stores! are designed with the same attention to the environment: all the vessels are in fact made of recycled materials and is used in all stores energy derived from renewable sources.
