Sneakers Made in Japan

Start with a special ryoshi (in Japanese reporter) the project Made in Japan sponsored by Onitsuka Tiger, the Japanese brand of sneakers. The first filmmaker who tells of his Japan Takayuki Akachi, which shows a nearly forty 28 and summed up in 3 minutes of a low energy world. His short film, Many Steps, says this: all the steps around the world on a journey where he collected faces, movements - are a lot of those people dancing in the street - food, data from the rhythms of metropolitan ports, from balloons thrown against the wall, and has condensed with a lens.

What to see a world vital and powerful to serve as a warning to Japan in 2011. A walk along the paths we do not know, a philosophy Onitsuka Tiger has always kept in its DNA, a sign of sneakers that "good Japanese" anticipated many trends, (among other distributor of shoes such as snacks) without lose its power to become iconic, but acknowledging the time and the needs of the wearer.

Proud to be Made in Japan with an anniversary to celebrate, that of 40 years of one of the most popular models ever in the house (those who have had one?) The Mexico 66, in light leather with tiger stripes alias scratch that birthdays back in the model reissued Slip On in canvas. Perfect embodiment (although the misleading name) of Japanese animation.
