Miuccia Prada seems to be a true patron of the arts, it has always shown a great interest in everything that is creativity and innovation, is testimony to the Prada Foundation, opened in 1993. For the new advertising campaign that covers the line dedicated to young people who are under the brand Miu Miu, has chosen to implement a series of shorts directed to the female and femininity contained in the middle of the sky pink.
Part of the project, is that these films were directed and shot by emerging women directors, with the aim of giving freshness and originality to the spring / summer collection 2011. The directors involved will be presented progressively on the website of the brand, so as to leave an air of mystery about this new campaign.
The first of directors chosen for this project was Zoe Cassavetes, who made Powder Room. The author of the short film has managed to capture in so few minutes, the essence of femininity, hidden and manifest, of every single woman, inextricably linked to the mystery that surrounds it. Already known for its blockbuster Broken Inglese, where there also is successful in an exemplary way to express and capture the feel represented in an exemplary way.
Thus, we chose London as the setting, specifically the availability of the Luxe Hotel Claridges. The artist says: "I like the idea of a room prepared with care, special I would say, to ensure that women feel far away from men, giving a strong sense of intimacy and boldness in addressing the world in a new way ".
