Karl Lagerfeld's photography exhibition

The first exhibition sulKarl Lagerfeld not only a photographer and fashion designer is on display at the Cloister of Bramante in Rome from February 16 until April 10. The exhibition, entitled "Karl Lagerfeld. Working path ", contains shots of the Kaiser of fashion since 1987 and comes from the Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris.

A route that passes by the advertising campaigns by Fendi, Chanel, photo shoots for the most important international journals in the world of fashion, celebrity portraits and photographs of the artist's private trips telling his great love for the city of Paris. A vast repertoire of snapshots that allows you to discover another facet of the artist photographer Karl Lagerfeld.

The exhibition is perhaps more interesting because you get closer to the aesthetics of Lagerfeld, and his particular vision of the most sublime and the beauty of the photographs per se. The exhibition is told in the exhibition catalog, published by Steidl with all the images of the photos on display in Rome.

Despite the high level of exhibits, the exhibition is not treated as it should, following the exhibition feels the lack of guidelines that help the viewer to empathize with the reality of the Kaiser and the photo in context with a given time. Although this is still interesting to visit the exhibition and learn more about the mythical figure associated with the name of Chanel.
