Perceived hidden in a forest, light and subtle movements dall'allure mysterious female. This is the metaphor implied in the Fall / Winter 2011/2012 collection presented in Milan yesterday Preview: the mysticism of an enchanted forest where real women and modern move with a firm step and steady, as if to mark hidden and unexplored territory, without fear.
Silhouettes are changing but aggressive and, most importantly, wearable and sculptural forms between horse and fluid volumes. The metaphor is supported by woody materials, processed and comfortable (as the fine wool jersey and double) or the rich textures (such as tweed or boucle). But it is above the alternating color to define the forms and where is the dark blue or black to blend with the shades "undergrowth" (such as gray, ivory, olive, burgundy), that's where you define the mood for the upcoming Fall Winter, which oscillates back and forth between items stolen from the wardrobe and a mystic, a subsidiary, femininity.
