New York Fashion Week 2011: Jason Wu

Jason Wu, just 27 years Ruscha to talk about on numerous occasions about the world of fashion. Emerging designer, but very successful, had great success also on the catwalks of New York, with absolutely amazing collection that manages to show how this innovative and original designer so young and so futuristic.

The collections created by this incredible designer, have a demonstration of how different was his background, his studies of how and traditions make a difference, for a result rigorously eclectic and sophisticated. He manages to mix together the styles that are out on the latest trends with the spirit of high fashion, taking many elements from the past and re-applying, without being ever granted.

His influences are varied and based on several fields and in different art forms, because first of all is the photographer Richard Avedon to take this glamorous style and forms, but also the collections of Charles James and Faith Jaques who have inspired for the choice of silhouette contours and especially the use of materials absolutely luxurious and valuable creations that give the highest quality.

This is immediately evident that a refined elegance and fine, mixed with clothes and forms that allow a woman to live and move in a relaxed and comfortable and never miss the beauty and personality on stage. Some of the items in the collection are taken from the male wardrobe with a touch of style, due to attention to detail, fantasies, and especially to the tissues, and gain an incredible unknown femininity.

The style of his creations takes many cues from the French fashion, his black and white, with touches of ivory, recalls the catwalks of haute Cotura Dior and Chanel. The lines of dresses, skirts and shirts, 50's style reminiscent of a fine and elegant, with the addition of embroidery and lace, which attract the upper classes of the period.
