New York Fashion Week 2011: the world spotted by Mark Jacobs

Last, but only in the arrangement of events affecting the catwalks of the fifth day of Fashion Week in New York, has managed to surprise the critics and most fans with a look and style is absolutely amazing. Mark Jacobs, in fact, paraded on the catwalks of New York with a book of clothes strict and disciplined, austere for a woman who always manages to take a little too seriously, with quirky elements expertly mixed to a French-accented woman immersed in the future described by Isaac Asimov or by the best science fiction film ever made in Hollywood.

A parade might be called a "round", whereas the fashion nerd was able to provide different amounts and always special, the same circular pattern. Polka dot, also superimposed on the tartan, sequins, leather circles as scales of a mermaid's tail, spots on matt shiny glitter, polka dots on the pantyhose until the fur Dalmatian version, are the undisputed leitmotiv of the catwalk.

Minimalist shapes of the jackets in particular, of the trench, the tops and knitwear, which stand out for linearity, simplicity and geometry than absolutely scaled skirts all round, colored metallic and futuristic, like shimmering fabrics, like the skin of snakes.
