Paris Fashion Week: Armani Prive Couture S / S 2011

After the jump into the past of yesterday with the collection of Dior, today we fly to the future with the interesting and futuristic creations of Armani. His first line Armani Privé Couture Spring Summer 2011 has marched Monday in front of the likes of Sophia Loren and Jodie Foster. A collection of success which confirms the artist's inimitable style.

Armani still surprises us with a collection that highlights the simplicity and the clean cut lines to bring out the color completely, playing with light effects and tissues. Suits by the simple silhouette and geometric slim trousers with top strapless sheath dresses, tunics with sleeves cut, skirts and jackets paired with leggings.

The fabrics dominate the catwalk: bright, reflective, shimmering iridescent. A colorful game inspired by the space: blue, purple, lime green and red are often enhanced by a metallic effect. Clothes that seem to glide over the body of the models as a liquid, creating lighting effects and psychedelic movement.

The silver fabric is made, and turns the clothes into mirrors. To enrich and complement this atmosphere, space hats are shaped like a flying saucer, or secondoaltri pagoda. Despite a lot of geometry, which is also underlined by the fantasies of skirts and jackets from the cuts, the proposed Giorgio Armani never forgets her femininity.

In fact, the use of crystal organza with embroidery, silk drapes, sequins and precious stones, sculptural detail, transparency and attention to the curves emphasize a woman aware of her charm. Signals from the future, highlighted by the rigor and rigidity of form, but are merely a means to affirm once again the usual modern tailoring skill and sublime elegance featuring Giorgio Armani.
