His first line Armani Privé Couture Spring Summer 2011 has marched Monday in front of the likes of Sophia Loren and Jodie Foster. A collection of success which confirms the artist's inimitable style.
Armani still surprises us with a collection that highlights the simplicity and the clean cut lines to bring out the color completely, playing with light effects and tissues. Suits by the simple silhouette and geometric slim trousers with top strapless sheath dresses, tunics with sleeves cut, skirts and jackets paired with leggings.
The fabrics dominate the catwalk: bright, reflective, shimmering iridescent. A colorful game inspired by the space: blue, purple, lime green and red are often enhanced by a metallic effect. Clothes that seem to glide over the body of the models as a liquid, creating lighting effects and psychedelic movement.
