Simonetta Bags Charity auction by Christie's, the bag's Ark to save Africa

That's good news from the fashion industry that "comes from the heart." Today we tell you of the very special bag that Simon has auctioned for Africa. It is a leader on children, there just a short talk about her and her participation in front to Pitti Bimbo 2011. For now, however, you want the report for its latest demonstration of great sensitivity to social issues.

Simon has in fact participated in the "charity BAGS FOR AFRICA", the event promoted by Coop in cooperation with the National Chamber of Italian Fashion. But we go into detail! For Charity Bags For Africa, Simon has created a special matelassè green nylon bag on which have been applied in many small plush animals.

As we see from the picture, here is a rich assortment of lions, zebras, giraffes, elephants, crocodiles and monkeys. With the style that has always distinguished the brand with a hint of irony, the company wanted to give a little message of love and hope against a wonderful and magical continent like Africa.

For this, the stock was sold during Simonetta charity auction organized by Coop last Thursday, January 27, 2011, in the Milan office of the important auction house Christie's. The proceeds from the evening will serve as a fund two projects in Senegal and Sierra Leone, to promote greater empowerment of women, greater protection of their rights and thus new opportunities for future generations, particularly for children.

Here's how they cast Robert, Simon and Valeria Stronati, happy event in the middle between fashion, art and heart
