Fashion and Literature: The Great Gatsby autumn-winter 2011/12

Today we immerse ourselves in the refined atmosphere of the 20s when the rage in Europe and America in the Charleston, flappers rolled the beads and fringes and Scott Fitzgerald, then a young writer not yet thirty years, he composed his great masterpiece, The Great Gatsby. A novel in which an entire generation having lost dreams and ideals is reflected back and now (in decidedly more frivolous tone with a touch of drama and theatricality) to influence fashion, giving us, through the keen eye of Brinkenfalk Bo, all the details of a style that already promises to be the trend.
