Damiani and Sharon Stone for Clean Water

The water is good for all and all we have to do something to preserve it: this is the concept you are working on today, March 22, 2011, Eleventh World Water Day and on which Damiani has developed his project by drawing a collection of Clean Water jewelry ad hoc with Sharon Stone. The line, called Muji (which means water in Swahili) in fact supports the association Drop in the Bucket, a nonprofit that deals to build wells in African villages to provide them as clean water, essential for survival and the fight against disease.

As a first act of this project, the Damiani family has financed the construction of the first well and have donated 200 thousand dollars to build another 50. "Hundreds of thousands of children worldwide are born healthy HIV-positive mothers, but to survive they need to take this medicine powder (Nevirapine) with clean water instead of water from a ditch or infected breast milk.

So this initiative for clean water is extremely important. I'm sure you never want your child to drink milk made with water from a ditch .. "said Sharon Stone, who together with Giorgio Damiani went to Africa to personally realize the living conditions of the populations each day struggle to find clean water.
