The first two episodes of Terra Nova, the new science-fiction serial produced by Steven Spielberg, will be aired in the U.S. only 23 and 24 May (for the complete set must wait for the fall). Too early to make comparisons and decide whether more like Lost, Jurassic Park, Avatar or any other vaguely mysterious production ever achieved by our small and large screens? Not at all.
There are already all the elements to discuss the issue. 1. Terra Nova is set in 2149 but things happen pussies prehistoric era, the fact is that our planet has become uninhabitable (but it '!) And Shannon's family has decided that, if in doubt, better to trust the scientists that the fate .
So join with other willing people on Earth, causing a "rift in space-time continuum" (in other words, go back in time) and try to correct the mistakes made on our planet tonando age of prehistory. Time travel? Mysterious mission? Scientists? Lost! 2. The expedition leader is the charismatic and uncompromising Frank Taylor, played by Stephen Lang, already seen in Avatar.
And then: Avatar! A leader ambiguous? Lost! 3. Terra Nova is a very hospitable place, it seems. Lush landscaping? Avatar! 4. No, for a moment. In prehistoric times were dinosaurs. We are also in the show, along with mysterious forces that are plotting against our heroes. Dinosaurs? Jurassic park! Scary creatures? Lost! 5.
Granted, not everything is smooth. It is not really all that all means to save the Earth. It seems that the claim of the show is "There is no paradise without sacrifice." Men who are not what they say they are? A sacrifice? Definitely Lost! (Although the director-producer Alex Graves stubbornly argue otherwise, that this is a series "intended for all." And yet the style is very buget Avatar, say).
