After the devastating earthquake that struck Japan, and the many problems and disasters that are born as a result, the organizers of Japan Fashion Week have decided to cancel the fashion event following the success of the Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week. The event should have been held in Tokyo March 21 to 25, but was canceled for obvious reasons: no security, there are problems related to infrastructure and due to the numerous victims of the tsunami could not imagine being able to complete this event.
The decision, as the organizers explain, was taken due to "concerns about the lack of electricity, unreliable transport and general security issues."
