Atelier Fontana. The sisters of Fashion - Travel on a piece of fiction in the history of Italian fashion

Atelier Fontana. The sisters of Fashion is a little fiction in two episodes aired two days ago, just in time for the closing of Milan Fashion Week and maybe not that Anna Wintour would never have given him a look. Sure would be good, given the presence of the original costumes from the archives of the Foundation Micol Fontana, which were used for the scene of the fashion show.

The three actresses who played the Fontana sisters, actually did not wear dresses very sophisticated, but still has to be noted that the search for costumes and settings of this mini-series TV is talking fashionist interesting. A good opportunity to get an idea of fashion in Italy in the '50s, at a time of rebirth and openness to the world, and the story of the Atelier in question is a perfect metaphor: from craft shop in the countryside of Parma, to decades of Hollywood and the Roman aristocrats who frequented her salons.

Before the three girls from playing with the remnants of her mother a seamstress, then by young girls acquire the know-how of the job, but by adding a personal touch, then the independence of Rome, between career success and emotional heartache. A handbook for those who want to be at the world of high fashion.
